Biography
Taylor York was born on December 17, 1989 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was the rhythm guitarist in the band Paramore, however, after the departure of Zac and Josh Farro he is now the lead guitarist. His brother is Justin York who is a member of Cecil Adora. Taylor's father is Peter York (a music executive at Sparrow Records) who also is a skilled guitarist, taught both Justin and Taylor the instrument. York had been in a band with the Farro brothers (Josh Farro and Zac Farro) before the two met Hayley Williams, and originally took part in writing songs such as Conspiracy from their debut album, All We Know Is Falling. York had played with Paramore as a touring member for two years (2007–2009) but was never an actual member, until it was announced on June 15, 2009 through the band's Livejournal that he was now an official member of the band.Influences

Taylor began playing rhythm guitar live for Paramore after the departure of Hunter Lamb. In the liner notes for the group's second album, Riot!, Hayley Williams, Josh Farro, Zac Farro, and Jeremy Davis all included him on their list of 'thank-you's.After the release of Riot!, Paramore released a live album, The Final Riot!. While Taylor plays on this record, he is credited as a member of the band.
In June 2009, Taylor was officially acknowledged by Paramore as a rhythm/lead guitarist and took part in writing on their album Brand New Eyes.
His brother, Justin York, temporarily filled in for Josh Farro as lead guitar during Paramore's Pacific Tour and will be for Paramore's South American Tour.
